Who runs this site
urcalculator.in is built and run by Satya Saladi. Satya studied for a master's degree (MS) in the USA and is a tinkerer at heart. Every calculator is written and checked by Satya, and is updated when rules such as tax slabs, GST rates or the RBI repo rate change.

Where the numbers come from
Each calculator lists its sources at the bottom of its page. The main ones are:

- ICE database ↗ and IPCC ↗ – carbon factors

Every calculation runs inside your own browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us or stored anywhere. This site does not use accounts or tracking cookies.
Messages sent through the feedback form are emailed to us and not saved on this website. The translate menu opens the page through Google Translate.
Accuracy
We keep tax and GST rules current and show our assumptions next to every result. Results are estimates; for decisions with real money or structural safety involved, confirm with a chartered accountant, your bank or a structural engineer.
